You Have:

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 1+ year of proven success in any field where you have used sales and customer-service skills; prior sales experience taking a lead from open to close is a huge plus
  • An outgoing personality, positive energy, and a strong sense of professionalism Excellent presentation (phone, video, email), persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office and Teams, GSuite, etc.) and the ability to learn and navigate industry-based software
  • An eagerness to expand your knowledge and sales expertise
  • The ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven experience at working well independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Great leadership skills
  • The ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and apply analytic, problem-solving skills to new challenges
  • “Big-picture” thinking combined with a work style where you cross every ‘t’ and dot every ‘i’ - when working on solutions, you leave no stone unturned
  • The ability to travel (by car/by plane) for prospect and client meetings when necessary

What You’ll Do:

  • Research prospective customers in the marketplace and identify the decision-makers within the company
  • Organize and track your own sales pipeline for prospects
  • Understand the prospects’ business challenges; recognize, articulate, and consult on how our solutions and services can transform their business and deliver value
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients and close new business
  • Participate in contract and price negotiations with shippers and carriers
  • Ensure fulfillment of our customer promises and provide exceptional service
  • Manage customer accounts and orders from A-Z, fulfilling their service requests and handling the administrative and logistical components needed to get their freight shipped safely and on-time
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Competitive base salary of $40-50K according to previous sales experience, plus uncapped commission will give you unlimited earning potential based on performance
